I knew a man whose wife died of a brain tumor. Her actions were extremely erratic and unpredictable ~ he worked from home, and eventually got her an apartment of her own in the same complex. After her death, when it was discovered what had been going on, his sense of guilt was overwhelming. But he had done the best he could with what he knew. Nobody blamed him for his actions.
That’s awful. Accepting that you did everything within your control was the hardest but most necessary step towards healing for my family. I hope that man finds peace.
